Peer Review Process
International Journal of Engineering Sciences & Management Research (ISSN 2349-6193)
All submitted manuscripts undergo a structured double-blind peer review process to ensure academic rigor and publication quality.
1. Initial Screening
The editorial team evaluates each manuscript for scope, originality, formatting compliance, and plagiarism. Submissions with significant issues are returned or rejected at this stage.
2. Double-Blind Review
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to at least two expert reviewers. Author identities are concealed from reviewers, and reviewer identities are concealed from authors.
3. Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on:
-
Originality and significance of the research
-
Clarity of problem statement and objectives
-
Soundness of methodology
-
Quality and reproducibility of results
-
Strength of analysis and interpretation
-
Relevance of conclusions
-
Proper citation and scholarly presentation
4. Review Outcomes
Based on reviewer reports, the editorial team issues one of the following decisions:
-
Accept
-
Minor Revision
-
Major Revision
-
Reject
5. Revision Process
Authors receiving revision decisions must address all reviewer comments and submit a detailed response document along with the revised manuscript. Major revisions may undergo additional review rounds.
6. Final Decision and Proofing
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision after satisfactory revisions. Accepted manuscripts proceed to proofreading and final formatting before publication.
7. Ethical Standards
All reviews are conducted confidentially. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed, and any ethical concerns may lead to withdrawal of the manuscript.
